Accent and public speaking coaching, practised live
Changing a sound can happen quickly. Making it feel natural, without thinking about it, takes much longer. That's why I run accent work as a six-month group programme, the Practice Rooms, where you practise out loud with live feedback. We add to your accent rather than take it away, and alongside how you sound, we work on how you structure what you say.
Clients who’ve sat in the hot seat
What we work on
01Breath, so you don't run out halfway through a point.
02Tension in the jaw and throat, which makes speech harder to follow.
03The sounds that trip you up, like goat and goal, the TH sound, W and V, and stress, as in CONduct and conDUCT.
04Structure, so your main point comes first.
05Intention, so what you say lands.
3 in 10 people with regional accents soften them at work to sound “professional” (Zurich UK and OnePoll survey, 2026).

Why me
Public speaking and voice, together
I coach how your talk is put together and how you deliver it. As a voice coach, I also bring in the anatomy of the voice and the science of tone. I have an MA in Voice and Accent Coaching from Royal Central, with distinction, and I taught voice and accent at RADA and LAMDA.
I've run corporate training on women's voices at Tipalti and Wiser, and I speak on panels at events like the Festival of Entrepreneurs. In January 2027 I'm speaking at SourceFlow's event in London. Teams at EY, Wise, Ocado and Pivotal Partners have trusted me with voice and presentation training.
Common questions
Will you change my accent?
We add to your accent rather than take it away. We look at the habits that make you harder to understand and change those.
Is this accent reduction?
No. Linguistically, the phrase makes no sense to me. I do accent addition. We expand your accent, and we never reduce it.
How long does accent work take?
It takes a while. Changing a sound takes a short time, but making it feel natural takes much longer. That's why I recommend the six-month Practice Rooms for anyone working on their accent.
Do you coach online?
Yes. I'm based in Islington, North London, and I coach online too.
